How Plotica handles the details you send us through this website. Last updated 4 October 2026.

Who we are

This website is run by Plotica. We decide how your details are used, so we are the data controller. To contact us about your data, email sales@plotica.co.uk.

What we collect

When you ask for a demo, we collect what you type into the form:

• your name and work email address, which are required;
• your company, role, phone number and message, if you give them.

We also record:

• the date and time of your enquiry and the page you sent it from;
• a one-way code made from your IP address, so we can stop repeated abuse. We never store the address itself, and the code can't be turned back into it.

The form is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile. It checks signals from your browser to tell people from automated bots, and it does not use them to track you or to show you adverts.

Why we use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a demo. You asked us to, so we rely on taking steps at your request before any contract, and on our legitimate interest in answering people who contact us.
• To keep the form free of spam and abuse. This is our legitimate interest in running a secure website. Automated checks filter out spam. If a genuine enquiry is caught by mistake, email us and we'll pick it up.

We won't add you to a mailing list or send you marketing unless you ask us to.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your details. These companies process them on our behalf, under contract:

• Cloudflare hosts this website, stores enquiries and runs the spam check.
• Resend delivers our emails from its EU (Ireland) region.
• Microsoft provides our business email, Microsoft 365.

Some of these companies are based in the United States. Where your details leave the UK, the transfer is protected by UK adequacy regulations or the UK International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

• Enquiries: up to 24 months after we last speak, unless you become a customer.
• Submissions our checks flag as spam: deleted after 30 days.
• The one-time security codes behind the form: deleted after a day.

Your rights

You can ask to see the details we hold about you, correct them, delete them, or limit or object to how we use them, and you can ask for a copy to take elsewhere. Email sales@plotica.co.uk; we'll reply within one month.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113. We'd appreciate the chance to put it right first.

This website doesn't use analytics or advertising cookies. If that ever changes, we'll update this notice and ask before setting any that aren't strictly necessary.
